Multipure MP750SB Aquaversa Water Filter
Multipure MP750SB Drinking water systems have been tested and certified by NSF International to comply with NSF/ANSI standards 42 and 53 for the reduction of specific contaminants being considered as established or potential health hazards.
Serious water filtration is provided by the Multipure MP750SB Under Sink Water Filter, a robust metal cylinder mounted to the side of the cabinet under your sink with a bracket. This sturdy filtration system, made out of rugged stainless steel, is intended to last a lifetime under normal use, though of course the filter cartridge inside requires periodic changing.
Options abound when it comes to setting up your Multipure Aquaversa MP750SB water filter. Among your choices for arranging the filter are:
Mounting the filter to the cabinet wall with the included stainless steel bracket is the default setup. In this configuration, an included chrome designer faucet is also used, requiring a 1/2" hole in the countertop or sink for proper installation. The cold water line only is hooked up to the filter, since, like all drinking water filters, it should not be used with hot water. The Multipure MP750SB filter can also be converted to countertop use through purchase and use of a separate conversion kit and acrylic base. The Multipure MP750SB can also be used with an icemaker by fitting it with an icemaker tee.
Cleansing properties of the Multipure Aquaversa MP750SB Water Filter:
The Multipure MP750SB offers thorough, effective reduction of drinking and cooking water, reducing unpleasant odors and flavors, plus many hazardous contaminants. The water produced is clean-tasting and makes good tea, coffee, or cocoa; provides crisp flavor to soups and sauces; offers lots of quality for baby food and cereals; and is tasty, refreshing, and healthy to drink, too.
Mechanical filtration includes a 5-micron pre-filter to remove large particulate matter (sand, silt, rust), and the highly compacted carbon block. The interior of this block has an average 0.5 micron pore size, which can capture asbestos, turbidity, and the cysts of parasites like Giardia and cryptosporidium.
Electrokinetic absorption occurs in the graded-density pre-filter, which gains a positive electric charge when water flows through it. Negatively charged colloidal contaminants are captured and absorbed regardless of actual particle size.
Physical absorption is provided by the compacted carbon block itself, which soaks up numerous contaminants: heavy metals like lead, mercury, aluminum, and chromium; organics such as MTBEs, PCBs, chlordane, herbicides, pesticides, solvents, benzene, and other VOCs; and aesthetic contaminants (chlorine, chloramine).
Filter cartridges should be changed every 750 gallons. It is time to change a cartridge when the water flow slows, when odors or flavors become apparent, annually, or when you know that 750 gallons has been processed, whichever comes first.
NSF/ANSI Certified to standards 42 and 53; certified by the state of California.

What is the difference from the Aquaversa MP750SB and the Aquaversa MP750SI?
The Multipure MP750SB comes with a faucet and all the hardware you need to install the filter under your sink. The MP750SI does not come with any hardware or faucet it is meant to be used in line such as coffee machines, fountains, ice-makers and various restaurant uses and more. It can also be used if you already have a faucet and hardware installed from a previous water filter and you just need the system without the hardware kit.
Other than that they are the exact same system and use the same replacement filters
How difficult is it to replace the filter for the Multipure Aquaversa MP750SB water filter?
It is fairly easy to replace the filters, you just want to make sure you have enough tubing hooked to it going from the filter and the valve on your water line so you can easily take it out from underneath the sink counter and hold it over a container to contain the water that will come out.
You then just unscrew the clamp that is holding the filter housing together and take the top housing off and unscrew the filter and then screw the new filter in by hand. Then just put the bottom and top canister together and clamp it back down.
Does the MP750SB Aqauversa come with everything to hook it up?
Yes it comes with everything you need to install and use. You will need to drill a 1/2" hole in your countertop or sink to install the faucet if you do not have a hole already. It also comes with a valve that hooks up to your cold water line.
After installing my Aquaversa Mp750SB I have Lots of air bubbles. Is this normal?
You might get air bubbles for the first couple days of use while the air escapes from the system. If you run it for 20 minutes or so this will help, you can also tilt the filter housing to help the air escape while the water is running through the filter. You might have to turn the adapta valve down a little also.
